Stage 7 is the shortest stage in Metal Gear Solid for Gameboy Color. After taking out Owl, Snake travels north through a decoy computer switch puzzle, picks up a mine detector and works his way to a mine field. Unfortunately, Viper is waiting for him in a helicopter at the north end of the field and already launched a nuke from Metal Gear! Forced to retreat thanks to artillery fire, Snake works his way backward through the mine field with explosions all around him.
