The ending is near as Metal Gear becomes active and it is up to Snake to stop it before it reaches the surface. First, the player must take out Metal Gear’s legs by placing mines just as the feet come down. Once it is render immobile, Snake must then fully put it out of commission but throwing grenades and nikita missiles at specific weak points. I have some difficulty with this boss and die, forcing me to restart. But I learn from my mistakes and quickly take it down during the second attempt.
