Starting February 4
th, Nintendo will be
including
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s
Mask 3D,
Star Fox 64 3D, and
Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS as
budget friendly Nintendo Selects titles. This means these games will receive a permanent
price drop from $39.99 to $19.99.
There are many other titles currently available as a Nintendo
Select such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Animal Crossing: New
Leaf, NES Remix, Tomodachi Life and more.
These titles should also be seeing their price drop for
the digital download version on the Nintendo eShop as well. Reducing the cost of these games will extend
the slow death of the 3DS even further.
Pro tip – if you want to buy these games for the reduced
$20 price tag but hate the updated ugly box art, go to the store on Feb 4
th
and buy the last of the current version as the new $20 should be honored.
