Diamond Hands: To The Moon (Switch) Review

Diamond Hands: To the Moon is literally the same game has Hellstruck, Rage with Your Friends right down to the menu interface and gameplay. The only difference is, instead of playing as a demon, you play as a businessman… for some reason. Either way, be prepared to suffer as this game is tough and requires constant perfection.

Since this is literally the same game just with a different coat of paint and level design, everything said about that game holds exactly true here. However, I found the modern setting a little more difficult to distinguish what is a platformer with collision versus a background art asset. I also think this game’s initially opening area is also a tougher… if that is even possible.

Between these two games, I think I prefer Hellstruck just because it offers a multiplayer mode and the demon-visual theme is more interesting, but we are splitting hairs at this point. You are either going to enjoy the brutal punishment this game offers, or you will rage quit after 4 minutes and never play it again. There is zero in-between.

SCORE: 5/10
