Sort of like the Brain Age of shooters, Shmups Skill Test gauges your shmup skill level then grades you accordingly. It is an interesting take on the shooter genre and this game only costs a few bucks.
This week, me and Gillman play some Game Tengoku CruisinMix Special (PC), a crazy anime shooter that involves arcades, pigs, outer space, mechs, claw catchers and much more. It is a pretty crazy but quality title. We also talk about how game prices are skyrocketing on the collector market.
This week, Gillman and I play some Mortal Kombat 11 because he bought the super mega ultra version on sale for like 20 bucks or something. So we talk about the MK series, how I am impressed by the detailed story, and the MK movie that was on HBO earlier this year.
This week, Gillman and I try out some Orcs Must Die 3. It seems to be more of the same, which is by no means a bad thing, as real time action mixed with tower defense is usually a good combo.
Essentially the next large scale online multiplayer battle royale game, Chivalry 2 is brutal, fast-paced, and even has cross-play with console players. UnMetal is an obvious knockoff to classic 2D top-down Metal Gear and it is oh-so good! The gameplay, the humor – this indie title is already a gem even though the final version isn’t available yet. This game is scheduled to hit consoles later this year too. Enjoy the stream embedded below:
