A PASSION FOR ALL THINGS GAMES
This week, Gillman and I play some Momodora Moonlit Farewell, the latest game in the Momodora series. Gillman was already a few hours into the quest when we jumped into this stream but got smoked by a boss.
A vertical shooter published by EastAsiaSoft, Nephenthesys is a challenging and speedy shmup. In fact, the speed is too fast! Each playable ship, each with their own shot-type, all control the same. Meaning, the speed in which they move is so fast, each death is usually by accident, making it easy to bump into bullets […]
Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg (GC, 2003) was an exclusive Gamecube title released by Sonic Team and Sega. Once the single player campaign is cleared, players gain access to the Gamecube-to-GBA linking connectivity in which 4 single-player games can be downloaded individually to the GBA: ChuChu Rocket Challenge, Puyo Pop’s Endless Mode, Nights into […]
Shivering Stone is a single-screen block pushing puzzle game, aka Sokoban, built around a snowy visual theme. Using only the analog stick and the “A” button, gameplay is simple and built around trial and error. This digital download only costs a few bucks too. Unfortunately, this time-trail-based first person platformer is unplayable for me as there […]
Pizza Tower is heavily inspired by Wario Land Shake It! (Wii) with its fast-paced, nicely animated gameplay.Gillman picked it up on a Steam sale, said good things, and so we decided to play it this week.

It is loaded with charm, contains helpful and entertaining dialog, and contains die-and-try-again gameplay that doesn’t grow tedious. Describing Star Guardians actually sounds pretty […]
By connecting Metroid Fusion (Gameboy Advance) with Metroid Prime (Gamecube) via a GC-to-GBA Link Cable, the original NES Metroid becomes unlocked and playable complete with a new save system. Then, the Fusion Suit can be unlocked and playable in Prime. Just keep in mind, you’ll need a completed save file to make this data transfer.
