Godzilla: Domination features a multiplayer smackdown for up to 4 players with the use of a single cartridge. This game’s Single-Pak link mode is rather limited but the music isn’t bad, load times are short, and can offer some mindless, short-lived fun. This game was also developed by Wayforward.
Rayman 3’s Single-Pak multiplayer mode is limiting but doesn’t really have any connection to the main single player campaign. This 2-player mode has players controlling a spaceship, using the face buttons to boost and shoot, and the first to five hits wins.
This NES to GBA port of Ice Climber has one critical feature over the Nintendo e-Reader version and the unlockable version found in Animal Crossing on Gamecube – the 2 player co-op mode. Player 1 can also select the starting level from the home screen. This video demonstrates this game’s multiboot mode.
Egg Mania is a sleeper hit puzzle game that is basically reverse Tetris. The best part, a robust multiplayer mode is available by only needing one game pak, making this one of better multi-boot modes available on GBA. This video explains this Single-Pak multiplayer mode along with was odd errors along the way.
