This week, Gillman and I play Scarlet Tower, a Vampire Survivors clone while talking about recent games we are playing. Honestly, we just wanted to catch up because it has been a few weeks since we last streamed.

A PASSION FOR ALL THINGS GAMES
things that are happening
This week, Gillman and I play Scarlet Tower, a Vampire Survivors clone while talking about recent games we are playing. Honestly, we just wanted to catch up because it has been a few weeks since we last streamed.
Fortified Zone is essentially those top-down stages from classic Contra titles but with 2-player co-op over a link cable. It is impressive because each player can venture in their own direction with all their action happening off-screen. Honestly, I am not really sure how this is possible on the original Gameboy but it offers some […]
Anime streamer IRONMOUSE was streaming with her commentary over random YouTube videos when she happened to find my video walkthrough of the Galloping Ghost Arcade, the largest arcade in the world with 900+ games all set to free play. You can watch her stream of my video HERE. You can watch my original cut, non-Ironmouse […]
Don’t let the big headed racers fool you. Woody Woodpecker Racing on Gameboy Color is probably the closest thing to Mario Kart on GBC. It is a quality, purposely designed slow-paced racer with an elaborate 2-player link cable mode. The multiplayer mode was actually designed as a focus, not an after thought. I guess not […]
Tweety’s High Flying Adventure features a 2-player link cable VS mode that is sort of one of those “frenemy” type games. Each player must collect Mario Kart-like items from inside mailboxes, then use them against Sylvester to make him drop his paw print. First to collect 3 paw print will win. There are 8 total […]
Originally bundled with F1 Race by Nintendo, the 4-player adapter was an accessory that allowed four Gameboys to be linked via link cables as opposed to the standard two. Only a few handful of games were compatible with this accessory with about half of them being racing games. This video covers every Gameboy game that […]
A quality conversion of the original NES release, Dr. Mario (1990) on Gameboy features a fun 2-player link cable vs mode that still holds up today (in my opinion).
This week, me and Gillman try Drug Dealer Simulator because he bought it for like $2 on a Steam sale. As expected, yeah, it is pretty bad which makes for a decent stream.
A nice tune to put in the background while you do stuff. This tune is played when a player is declared in the 2-player link cable vs mode. The 2-player link cable mode is best of 3.
This week, Gillman and I try out the fun but challenging Gravity Circuit, a game that clearly takes inspiration from the Mega Man X series. Unfortunately, we couldn’t make it to the first boss during this stream but still enjoyed our time.
