The Neogeo Pocket Color version of Puyo Pop sells for mint today but still contains classic Puyo Puyo gameplay. Unfortunately, the lack of music and confusing options do not do it any favors, but at least the classic match-4 gameplay is still fun regardless.
Puzzle Link 2 is a more-of-the-same sequel only with a slightly more appealing visual style. But both Puzzle Link tiles on Neogeo Pocket Color are quality additions to the handheld’s library and the 2-player link cable mode is fun, entertaining, and highly approachable.
Medal of Honor: Rising Sun on Nintendo’s Gamecube can link with Medal of Honor: Infiltrator on Gameboy Advance. When connected, player’s get a helpful map that depicts the location of helpful items and enemy positioning.
Neogeo Cup 98 PLUS is the colorized version of the original Neogeo Pocket game and it features a 2-player head-to-head link cable mode. This is the only soccer game for the Neogeo Pocket Color, but not the only sports game.
Kururin Squash is the Gamecube sequel to the two original GBA games and features a Gamecube-to-GBA link feature. To access this GBA link mode, players must first grind the single player campaign to earn 30k gold coins to purchase the link option. Up to four players can compete once unlocked.
Baseball Stars Color is a quality little baseball title for the Neogeo Pocket Color. It is actually made better when playing against another human in the 2-player link cable mode as the AI can be unfair at times.
The Gamecube version of FIFA 2004 has two GBA link options: one that connects with the FIFA 2004 GBA version, and another that links with an empty GBA.
