Published by Bulletproof Software, the same company that released the original Gameboy version of Tetris, ported Pipe Dream to the Gameboy. Strangely, it features a pretty robust-for-the-time multiplayer mode despite not showcasing the standard Link Pak icon on the front of the box art and not mention anything about multiplayer on the back on the […]
Nacon released the pro Revolution X ($74) and the ColorLight ($40) controllers for Xbox. Here is a quick unboxing video of both controllers (the packaging is so well done, I had trouble opening it). And don’t confuse the name of the pro-style controller with the Aerosmith lightgun shooter of the same name.
The original arcade version of Popeye and Donkey Kong have a lot in common. Later, this Popeye 2 Gameboy sequel seems to have taken a lot of inspiration from 1989’s Super Mario Land as the gameplay and visual style are similar. The Game & Watch Gallery series on Gameboy contains a hidden LINK CABLE feature that connects the first three games, unlocking content spread across the trilogy! This is amazing because this creative feature isn’t even mentioned in the instruction manual.
Space Invaders on Gameboy holds a crazy secret and is the only Gameboy game to do this special thing! Can this even be considered a Gameboy game?
Over 20 Gameboy games have special Super Gameboy functionality that allowed for multiplayer gaming by only needing one cartridge. Many were exclusive to Japan. Normally, 2 Gameboys, 2 copies of a compatible game, and 1 link cable are needed for two-player multiplayer. However, all the games featured in this video support 2-4 players by only […]
This week, me and Gillman played through the opening of Wandering Sword, a Chinese RPG that looks like Octopath Traveler.
